Casa Mague se encuentra dentro de un predio rodeado de abundante vegetación, en la ladera de una colina junto a la zona arqueológica de Malinalco, México, un centro ceremonial azteca que fue cuidadosamente elegido por su microclina único y sus grandes árboles. Es una obra de Mauricio Ceballos x Architects.

“Mauricio Ceballos X Architects” approached the project by asking themselves the following question: How can we create a building with a contemporary language within a pre-Hispanic context that merges with the natural and cultural environment while respecting 100% the existing vegetation?

How do we develop flexible and timeless homes? How do we develop architecture that mimics nature?

Casa Mague in Malinalco

Designed by Mexican architecture firm Mauricio Ceballos x Architects, Casa Mague located in an ancestral place at Malinalco, Mexico; surrounded by abundant vegetation, on the slope of a hill next to one of the three monolithic pyramids of the world, an Aztec ceremonial center, the site was carefully chosen by the clients due to its unique micro-climate and large trees.
